Martins Mill Board of trustees held their regular meeting Feb. 15.  The meeting began by recognizing the students of the month.  Elementary students Codi Posey and Ricki Hurt were honored by Principal Suzzette Stringer.  Junior high student Paige Gaines and high school students R.C. Holleman and Haley Celsur were awarded by Principal Don Layton.

The robotics team was also recognized for their performance in the first UIL robotics competition.  The team gave the board a preview of their robot and the tasks they must complete during the judging.  Not only did they meet the criteria needed, they excelled on every level, remarked school officials.  The team won first place and the coveted BEST award.  The team then thanked the board for their support by awarding them with the first place medals they received.

As the board began regular business of the meeting, they reviewed the plans and rendering for the elementary sidewalk awning.
