Funeral services for Jonathan Bryan Herman Henson, 60, of Commerce, were held Dec. 28, 2015, at First United Methodist Church in Cooper with Jason Cunningham officiating. 

Interment followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ben Franklin under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. Henson died Dec. 23, 2015, at his home of 35 years.

He was born Jan. 28, 1955, in Athens the son of Robert Kingston Henson and Pamela Elizabeth VanScoy Henson.  He was raised in Cooper. 

In 1973, he graduated from Cooper High School and later attended Paris Junior College.  On Sept. 4, 1976, he married Marilyn Kay Fuller in Wills Point. 

He was formerly employed by Campbell Soup Company, the City of Commerce and was deputy sheriff for the Hunt County Sheriff’s Department for several years.  He was of the Methodist faith.

Mrs. Barlow died Dec. 26, 2015, in Grand Saline.

She was born Nov. 30, 1918.

Bruce Darrell Shelton was born Oct. 15, 1967, in Dallas. He died Dec. 25, 2015, in Dallas. 

Mr. Shelton graduated from West Mesquite High School in 1986.  He attended Texas A&M and Richland College.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Inez and Leroy White, Frances Umpleby and Bill Shelton.  He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Cleta Shelton; brother, Randy and Lori Shelton; nephews, Jordan and Cameron; uncle, Carl and Virginia Shelton; aunts, Faye Walls and Novell and Gordon Allen; great-aunt, Irene Wells; and numerous cousins and friends. 

As per his wishes, there will be no services.  Burial of his remains will be at Starr Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Starr Cemetery, P.O. Box 1162, Canton TX 75103 or to a charity of your choice.

Billy Ray Reese, 66, of Wills Point died in late December 2015 at his residence. 

No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements were under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. Reese was born Jan. 26, 1949, in Breckenridge the son of Doyle Ray Reese and Billie Louise Admire Reese. 

He was raised in Dallas and graduated from Oak Cliff High School.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.  After three years of service, he returned home to Dallas.  At that time he went to work for Texas Instruments in Dallas.  He had a passion for scuba diving.  He still talked about all his trips, but the best trips were with his daughter, Rebecca Cook.  After leaving Dallas and T.I., He moved in with his mother to care for her until her death.  He remained living there until his death.

Mr. Reed was born Sept. 26, 1987, in Dallas to Joel Reed and Deanna San Miguel.

He attended Canton ISD where he played football his freshman and sophomore years.  He was an electrician by trade.  He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and loved to watch football with his family and friends.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canton and the Canton Masonic Lodge #141.

Funeral services for Margaret Dagley, 94, of Wills Point, were held Dec. 22, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Fred Cooper officiating.  Graveside service followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.

Mrs. Dagley died early Sunday morning, Dec. 20, 2015, in Grand Saline.

She was born June 7, 1921, in Buckholts, the daughter of Louis H. McKnight and Laura Maude McClure McKnight.  She was raised in Dallas and graduated from Forest Ave. High School.  She later attended Navarro Jr. College in Corsicana.

Funeral services for Lucy Ritter, 74, of Wills Point, were held Dec. 21, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with the Rev. Ken Hackney officiating. 

Interment followed at Bright Star Cemetery in Wills Point.

Mrs. Ritter died Thursday night, Dec. 17, 2015, in Dallas.

She was born April 2, 1941, in Huntsville.  She was married to Eddie Jones and later to Tex Ritter.  She was employed as a waitress at Golden Corral in Dallas for several years and later was self-employed as a truck driver, retiring in 2005.  She lived in Garland prior to moving to Wills Point 31 years ago. 

She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her great-grandbabies.  Mrs. Ritter was a member of Chapel of the Lake near Lake Tawakoni. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nadine Vaughn; and several brothers and sisters.

Memorial services for Janice Wade, 66, of Grand Saline, were held Dec. 20, 2015, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiating.

Mrs. Wade died Dec. 17, 2015, in Tyler.  She was born May 12, 1949, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Carl Henry and Virginia Cravens Ask.  She was raised in Mineola, spent several years in Arlington and had been in Grand Saline since 1980.  She married Tommy Wade on May 19, 2001.  She worked as a supervisor for Morton Salt for 28 years. 

She was preceded in death by her mothers, Virginia Cravens Ask and Helen Louise McClure Ask; father, Carl Henry Ask; nephew, William Ross Collier and brother-in-law, Buzz Collier.
