Services for Mary Kay Witherspoon, 75, of Edgewood, were held Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.  Interment was at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.

She passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, in Grand Saline.

Mary was born December 21, 1939, in Dallas to Curtis and Charlie Setzler.

She was Methodist by faith and was married 56 years to Paul Witherspoon. Her hobbies included snow skiing and making a yearly trip to Colorado. Mary was very caring and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Witherspoon and sister, Pat March.

Funeral services for Joan “Hen” Bell were held Saturday, June 27, 2015, at First Assembly of God Church in Wills Point. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Joan departed this life Friday, June 19, 2015, at her home in Canton.

Joan Marie Bell was born May 14, 1954, in Brenham, the third child of five, to George and Evelyn Harris Bell. She grew up and attended school in Brenham. Joan confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and became a member of New Hope Missionary Church in Brenham. She was a very active member in the choir and also loved singing quartet style with her sisters, known as the “Bell Sisters”.

Memorial service for Hulen David Owen, 64, of Point, formerly of Wills Point, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Preacher Mike Morrow officiating.  Interment will be at Rock Hill Cemetery near Wills Point.

He passed away Friday morning, June 12, 2015, in Greenville.

Hulen was born May 6, 1951, in Wills Point, the son of Chester Lenior Owen and Lottie Mae Ellis Owen.  He was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Kaufman High School.  He attended college at Abilene Christian University.  Hulen was employed by the WPISD in the mid 1970’s and from 1990 – 2015 he worked at the Emory Livestock Auction.  He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family and friends.  Hulen was of the Baptist faith.

Millicent Frances Sheridan Spaziano Clark was born Jan.3, 1925, in Dallas and died June 22, 2015, in Wills Point.  There will be a Memorial Service at Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton on Thursday, June 25 at 4 p.m. with Dr. Mark Moore officiating.  Burial will be at Grove Hill Memorial Park.

Mrs. Clark retired from Burden Brothers, Inc. in Dallas in 1994.  She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton. She held memberships with Mike H. Thomas, OES 951, Shalman Temple 90, Daughters of the Nile in Dallas, Van Zandt County Genealogical Society and Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Orlene Fooshee Sheridan; husbands, Lt. Vincent J. Spaziano killed in WW II and Garland N. Clark who she was married to for 54 years.

Memorial services for James Lee Pierce, 74, Canton, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Hwy 198, Canton. Mr. Pierce passed away on May 13, 2015, in Tyler. He was born Sept. 2, 1940, in Canton to the late Joe Clifton Pierce and Allie Dee Tindel Pierce. He worked for Curtis Mathis. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Lynn Pierce. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Pierce; son, Lynn Pierce and his wife, Nicole; grandson, Cason Pierce; three brothers, Cliff Pierce, Kenneth Pierce and Mike Pierce; and two sisters, Donna Beth Norrells and Linda Kay Woodruff.

Mary Etolia Harris passed away May 15, 2015, in a Grand Saline nursing home. She was born Nov. 8, 1933, in Fruitvale. The family will hold services for her at a later date. Burial was in Creagleville Cemetery.
