Services for David Neal Spruill, 29, Canton, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with branch president Robert Bray officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mr. Spruill died June 7, 2008.
He was born July 2, 1978 in Crockett. He was a resident of Canton for the past six months. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in operations in Kuwait and Iraq. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Wills Point.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Lucille Spruill, and Herbert Terro; and great-great-grandparents, Lee and Lois Beavers, Lem and Annie Spruill.
Survivors include his wife, Anastasia Spruill, Canton; sons, Logan and Conner Spruill, both of Canton; daughter, Tara Spruill, Canton; mother, Charlotte Mannino, and husband Charles, Livingston; father, Bobby Spruill, Crockett; brother, Michael Spruill, Nederland; grandmother, Mildred Knapp, and husband Robert, Nederland; one nephew; and other relatives.
Memorials may be made to the Children of David Spruill.
