Services for Gene Alan Wright, 47, Canton, were scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at Colfax United Methodist Church with Rev. Roland Alsobrook officiating.
Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery, under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.
Mr. Wright died June 10, 2008 in Tyler.
He was born June 24, 1960 in Tyler to Bobby and Virgie Wright. He graduated from Brownfield High School in 1978. He worked at Van Zandt Radiator for 15 years and Starnes Trucking for 15 years. He was employed by Van Zandt County Precinct #4 Road and Bridge Department.
He was preceded in death by brother, Keith Wright; and grandparents, Ed and Vada Wright, and Troy and Violet McClellen.
Survivors include son, Bradley Wright, and wife, Jennifer, Tyler; parents, Bobby and Virgie Wright, Colfax; sisters, Diane Arnold, Snyder, and Rhonda Hillin, Carthage; brother, Wayne Wright, Broken Arrow, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include John Adams, Greg Hord, Shane Starnes, Ernie Ward, Ron Caroll and Ricky LaPrade.
