Randy Workman

Services for Randy Blake Workman, 62, Wills Point, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Faith Baptist Church, Quinlan.

Burial with military honors was at 2 p.m. in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery,  under direction of Ingram Funeral Home, Quinlan.

Mr. Workman died June 13, 2008, in Plano.


He was born September 26,1945 in Christian, W.Va. He grew up in Christian and attended high school in Gilbert, W.Va. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He later worked for Fluor International as a subcontractor for TXU. He married Audrey Hatfield in 1966. He was a resident of Marmet and Glasgow, W.Va., prior to moving to Texas in 1984. He moved to Lake Tawakoni in 1999. He was a longtime member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.


Survivors include his wife, Audrey Workman, Wills Point; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Dawn Workman, Richmond, Va.; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Zane McGee, Mesquite; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry Jackson Workman, Martinsburg, W.Va., Roger and Linda Runyon, Greer, S.C., James Foley and Brenda Workman, Hillsborough, N.C., and Donald Eugene and Sherry Workman, Gilbert; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Jo and Bob Lupia, Judy and Jimmy Wilhelm, and Peggy and Albert Metz, all of New Jersey, and Elizabeth Roberts, Virginia; and grandchildren, Michael Allen, Meagan Brianna, Whitnee Nicole and Hannah Marie McGee.
