Services for Harold E. Madding, 65, Patoka, Ill., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Day Funeral Home, Patoka, with Eric Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
Mr. Madding died June 14, 2008, at his residence.
He was born August 19, 1942 in Decatur, Ill., to George Allen and Alice Melinda Runion Madding. He was a longtime resident of Wills Point and Dallas, and moved to Patoka two years ago. He worked as a machine operator for Drawing Board Company in Dallas for several years. He was a Vietnam War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Edward Dickard, Longview; son, Jason Madding, Texas; grandson, Sean Landers; brothers, Robert Madding, Patoka, and David Madding, Del Tona, Fla.; sisters and brother-in-law, Melinda and Joe Kenney, Wills Point, and Ruby Mays, Patoka; several nieces and nephews.
