Services for Roscoe Alvin Killian, 90, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, at Hilliard Funeral Home Chapel, Van, with Sam Sidders officiating.
Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton.
Mr. Killian died June 17, 2008, in Tyler.
He was born May 7, 1918 in Farmersville to Don and Jewel Gracy Killian. Formerly of Wylie, he was a resident of Van Zandt County for 11 years. He retired from Telco Industries in Garland, where he worked as a machinist for 28 years. He was of Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Aletha Lavelle Killian, in 2008; son, Jerrell Dwayne Killian, in 2006; brothers, James Killian and Ted Killian; and sisters, Edna Carter, Margaret Bumpuss and Mamie Swindell.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Mattie Killian, Mesquite, and Rick and Carol Ann Killian, Ben Wheeler; brother, Murlyn Killian, Fate; sisters, Joyce Blakely, Forney, and Faye Kirby, Mesquite; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
