Billie Reid Wallace

Memorial services for Billie Reid Wallace, 78, Canton, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Dr. Tim Watson officiating.

Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton.

Mrs. Wallace died May 10, 2008, in Tyler.

She was born December 2, 1929 in rural Fannin County to Grover Booth and Mary Tallye Haney Gilbert. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Canton. She grew up in Honey Grove and Port Arthur, later moving to Dallas and to Canton in 1959. She was a retired school teacher with Terrell ISD.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Ruth Reid; son, Ronnie Reid; husbands, Truett Reid and Frank Wallace; and sister, Claudia Loper.

Survivors include sons, Randy Reid, Garland, and Ricky Reid, Canton; and grandchildren, Grant Reid, Lauren Reid and Owen Reid.
