Wildflower Project Launched To Beautify Wills Point

Members of Keep Wills Point Beautiful, the Wills Point High School FFA, and representatives from Citizen’s National Bank (Jerry Branum, Renea Hart, and Rachel Fuller), took time out on Tuesday to visit the site of a wildflower project that will help add more color to the Wills Point area.

Next spring, wildflowers should erupt in beautiful colors as visitors enter Wills Point on Highway 80 near the high school.
Citizen’s National Bank purchased 300 packets of wildflower seeds that will be planted on approximately 2 acres west of the high school.
They will have individual packets available in the bank’s lobby to be given away to plant around the town. FFA students are in charge of the actual planting on their high school campus in a designated no-mow area.
Keep Wills Point Beautiful, an affiliate to Keep Texas Beautiful, is a proud co-sponsor of this wildflower venture.
