One lucky man in Edgewood has won a $250,000 Texas Lottery scratch off ticket prize, thanks in part to Newman’s Convenience Store cashier Mary Erwin. Newman’s, off Highway 30 in Edgewood, is a popular spot for passersby, with a steady stream of customers coming in and out, chirping hellos and goodbyes to the store’s most treasured cashier.
